Faces come out of the rain

Why are there cats everywhere? will Pete ever ‘get’ magical realism? why is everyone reading 50 shades of grey I meant the book we shall not mention again. These and other questions were pondered at last night’s meeting.

The Book for next time is The Stranger’s Child by Alan Hollinghurst. Other nominations included Wise Children, On Chesil Beach, Tokyo Vice, The Line of Beauty, The Saga of the Swamp Thing (book 1) and 50 Shades of Grey.

Next meeting is on the 20th of September in Mango Landin, and back to our usual Thursday. Plus there was talk of having a picnic at the Lambeth Country Show – details will follow.
