A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens and Binti (part 1) by Nnedi Okorafor.
Runners up included: The Lord of the Flies by William Golding, A Horse Walks into a Bar by David Grossman, Salt Houses by Hala Alyan, Belinda Blinked by Rocky Flintstone, Days without End by Sebastian Barry, Maragitas and Murder by Jessica Fletcher and Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.
We will be meeting in the Effra Social on the 18th of January 2018 – everyone welcome!
Important announcement about the Christmas Parteeee
13th of December – drinks at the Effra Social followed by Santa’s favourite: a traditional Christmas Curry at Khans. Bring a wrapped up book to swap!
