His Bloody Project

We had a smaller group tucked away in the back room of the Effra to discuss Kraken. Although it was a fun read with lots of inventive ideas the consensus was that it was a bit long, and the plot a bit over complicated. With Pete absent, we had to draft in interim doodle doodlers.

The next book is His Bloody Project by Graeme Macrae Burnet, and we’re meeting on Thurs 16th May from about 7.30. We’ll be in the back room/former restaurant/accordion room of the Effra Social again.
