I’m writing to ask if there’s some way we can draw to the attention of Brixton Book Group members the launch of the Commuters Book Club? (www.commutersbookclub.com)

It’s not a book club in the traditional sense but, rather, aims to encourage and facilitate book swapping amongst people who live in or travel through London. As you’ll be aware, literally hundreds of thousands of Londoners read books on their daily commute. We’re trying to set up a quick and safe system where all those people can swap all those books as they commute.

We’re launching CBC with an offer of a year’s free membership for the first 500 people to sign up. It would be great if these could go to real booklovers.

I’d be very grateful for your thoughts on if and how we can advise your members about CBC.
