In the Brixton Book Group postbag this month…
Hi, just a quick note as I thought I’d pass on this request (it’s a nice one) from the flower council:
(and it might help with the Will Self)
Dear Pete,
I came across your book-club and we (The Flower Council of Holland) thought that some of your group might like to receive a free Azalea plant and get involved in a little experiment we are running.
It works like this, we send out a free Azalea and in return we ask ‘Panel Members’ to share pictures and stories about it’s month with you. The Azalea is said to help with concentration (might be useful for getting through a heavy novel!) and we are putting it to the test! It’s a fun project going on in the UK and France. No green fingers are required and at the end of the month you can keep the plant! It’s part of the Houseplant of The Month campaign and all the pictures etc will be put together to make a short film about the plant on YouTube and other social media (see attached flyer).
The Azalea is being sent out in October so we have a few places open. Please contact me at [email protected] if you’d like to sign up or for more information.
