runners up were:
Money – Martin Amis
Shabby Tiger – Howard Spring
If on a winter’s night a traveller – Italo Calvino
A million little pieces – James Frey
The Phantom toll booth
A fraction of the whole
I am a cat – Soesemi Matsuke

“Books like HG Wells’ War Of The Worlds and Ray Bradbury’s Farenheit 451 are placed on the beds. Their themes of humanity under threat echo the dark, claustrophobic nature of the exhibit.”
