Memento Mori
Another outside meet up to discuss Palestine. I wonder if we’ll continue to be so lucky with the weather in late September.

The winning book for next time is Memento Mori by Muriel Spark – the book pitch was also a pitch for the work of http://
Other suggestions were:
The Miniaturist – Jessie Burton
Little Dorrit – Charles Dickens
The Bone Clocks – David Mitchell
The Secret History – Donna Tartt
A Confederacy of Dunces – John Kennedy Toole
Beyond Black – Hilary Mantel
We’ll be back at the Effra Social on 25th September from about 7.30.
