Reasonable
Lovely to see lots of people at book group last night – we discussed the merits of The Diving bell and the Butterfly (Le Scaphandre Et Le Papillon) and decided to go and see the film (will post more details on here).
The book for next time is the Clio-inspired not SSSSShakespeare but Jean-Paul Sartre The Age of Reason.
runners up included:
Nights of the Circus by Angela Carter
Catch 22 by Joseph Heller
The aspidistra flying by George Orwell
Beyond Black by Hilary Mentell
Gods own Country by someone from Yorkshire
Death of a murderer by Rupert Thomspon
and Love in the time of Cholera.
I also wrote something down about With their backs to the world, but I can’t read my writing.
Next meeting is in 3 weeks time: Wednesday 26th of March. I’m going on a flash mob to Heathrow that day, so someone might have to deputise if I get arrested.
