2666 – Long Summer Read

The time has come to set a date to talk about the long summer read: 2666 by Roberto Bolano

Some people are already part way through, others have finished. How are you getting on?

We discussed dates last night and set a date of 28/10 to meet and discuss it (this is a Wednesday), however if you’re reading it and keen to come along but can’t make that date let me know and I’m sure we can find a time that suits everyone. We’ll be at the Effra Social as usual from about 7.30

Please note this is an extra meeting to discuss a long book. Everyone is welcome and you still have 6 weeks to read it, but you might want to check out our other regular events as well.

Announcing our 2015 Summer long read – the really long, 2666┬áby Roberto Bolano.

This is one to read across summer, in addition to our regular book group choices. We’ll meet sometime in September to discuss.
