Sickness won over death

Apologies for the late post (still need to unpack my computer!) – we had a lovely Wednesday summer evening discussing the Famished Road, which made some sort of sense some of the time.

The Famished Road / River / Spirit / Metaphor thingy

Book for next time is The Sickness by Alberto Barberra Tyszka and we’re meeting on Wednesday 24th of August in Mango Landin at 7.30ish – it’s a short book this time! and note we’re meeting on Wednesday instead of Thursday, because that’s the crazy way we roll at book group.

Runners up were Half of a Yellow Sun, The Last Hundred DaysOur Kind of Traitor and Death And The Penguin
