A tale of two books at book group..

Happy January everyone! we discussed two books at book group this evening – the Sci-Fi short novel Binti and the epic Tale of Two Cities. Both books had quite a high body count.

Book for next time is the Heart goes Last by Margaret Atwood and we’re meeting on Thursday the 15th of Feb in the Effra Social from 7.30ish.

Runners up included the Miner by Natsume Soreki, In the Midst of Winter by Isabelle Allende, The High Window by Raymond Chandler, This is going to Hurt by Adam Kay, Black like Me by John Howard Griffin, Foundation by Issac Asimov, How the World Works by Noam Chomski, Fire and Fury by Michael Wolff and a Place of Greater Safety by Hilary Mantell.
