The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

A slightly smaller group to discuss Huckleberry Finn. Although it went down OK I don’t think it quite lived up to expectations. And Tom Sawyer really is an idiot.
We had a draw when voting for the new book, so as there is a long gap due to the Christmas holidays we decided to read both.
So new books are:
1. A Fine Balance – Rohinton Mistry – a fairly long novel
2. A Murder in the Rue Morgue 
Feel free to read either or both!
Other suggestions were: The Book Thief – Markus Zusak Asylum – Patrick McGrath The Cruel Sea – Nicholas Montserrat We’ll be meeting on January 10th 2013 at Mango Landin in Brixton. The Christmas do is set up as a separate post, so see you either at that or in 2013…
