Well that was interesting…
Last night we had a very interesting discussion about Infidel, coming to the conclusion that ultimately men are to blame for all of the world’s problems, and that the book had one of the best opening pages ever even if it is full of quite a lot of sweeping generalisations.
Book for next time is A Week in December by Sebastian Faulks. Next meeting is on the 4th November at a location to be confirmed. We’re on the lookout for a quieter venue since the bring your own record evening is a bit loud. Unless we all bring a copy of four minutes thirty three seconds. Suggestions welcome.
